I just built my first 6.5 Grendel AR-15 and I find myself repeatedly coming back here to browse so I might as well sign up. About to take my rifle to the range and see if I can figure out my new scope and get it ready to hunt this weekend.

I have been building AR platform rifles since Obama, but recently took the Sons of Liberty Armorers course. So I built a new AR...I already had 9mm, .223/5.56, 7.62x39 and .308... SOLGW upper SOLGW lower SOLGW competition trigger BCM mk2 extension/buffer system BCM MOD 2 stock Larue Apeg grip Odin Works 20" DMR barrel Odin Works rune handguard Odin Works bolt carrier group Odin Works adjustable gas block I put a Yankee Hill quick detach suppressor Mount since I shoot everything suppressed Burris Veracity PH 4-20x50 Midwest 20 moa mount So far I have put about 40 rounds down range. The goal on this gun is something that I can do on my general purpose hunting with as I hunt hogs and white tail but I also wanted something that I could take elsewhere in the country besides East Texas and still the effect about the several hundred yards without lugging a much heavier 308 |
