Fresh Re-barrel looks promising

Had built an 18” with a Faxon barrel. Fought for waaay too long to get it to shoot. Always had fliers. Almost dumped all my Grendel stuff but found a 20” Odin barrel/bcg combo on sale so giving it another go. So far it is promising might have to rework some loads and have tried a few new ones. One thing I have found is that I may have a new favorite powder. LeveRevoluiton. Shows a ton of promise.

There's a saying I read on this forum: "I'm too poor to own cheap barrels." Glad things are looking up for you. And yes, LeveR works well for me as well.

I’ve rolled the dice maybe 2-3x on lower price point Grendel barrels and mostly hit.

All the others have been Satern, Lilja and Criterion, with some testing I’ve done on Bartleins.

The Faxon group buy barrels we did here, the 12” ones, have both been consistent 1 MOA pipes over the past 6 years.

Every Lilja I have is a shooter, especially the 16” Wasp lightweight one. That thing bug-holes, but weighs like an M4 original profile carbine pre-SOCOM heavy barrel era.

Nice to hear that you are having better luck with accuracy.
It looks like several powders work reasonably well with the 6.5 Grendel. I have until around February before I will get to start load development on mine. Waiting on my Barrel to be made. This will give me time to checkout lots of Load Data.
