Howa mini elevate?

Any members have the Howa mini Elevate with the carbon stock and carbon barrel? I have seen 2 version one with the black carbon stock & barrel w/detachable mag and a gray carbon stock & barrel with what looks like a flush mag, what are the thoughts??

My neighbor picked up a Howa grendel grey spider web elevate, did have the detachable mag, kitchen scales says 72.03 ounces thats 4.5 pounds, very light and handy hopefully he will get to the range soon for an accuracy report. I tried to upload some pics the files were to big and more work to resize them than i want to spend.

Well sh1t, there goes my lightest bolt action Grendel in the world.

Now if he slabs the action, flutes the bolt and hollows bolt handle he can drop 3 more oz. just over 4 1/4 lbs. Talley rings and a fixed 6x36 Leupold he’d be under 5 lb scoped if does the machine work.

Tell him to get hokey's aluminum hinged bottom metal kit to fix it proper. No weight penalty.

yeah if 72 oz I'm at bare rifle 74.5 oz

my 22" barrel was cut down to 18.5", the -3.0 oz from machine work on action/bolt, stocky's stock came in at 18 oz, should have maybe grabbed the heavy barrel contour stock and likely be an ounce lighter to match their advertised weight, and I have hokey's hinged bottom metal which is the same weight as the factory plastic garbage/magazine, so that little carbon barrel must be pretty lightweight to have that rig at 72 oz bare
