29.5gr of LVR and a CCI 450 probably isn't max but it shoots well with 123gr SSTs and Nosler CCs in my ARs without pressure signs. 2440fps in my 20".

You can work up to 31.5gr under a 120-123gr cup and core bullet in the AR-15.

Your gas system length, port size, and plug dwell will be bigger factors in how much charge weight you can go with since LEVERevolution is slower-burning.

I worked up to 32.2gr in the Howa Mini bolt gun with 123gr SST. The biggest jump in velocity I saw was when I went from 31.0gr to 31.3gr with a 62fps increase.

31.0gr is a good cut-off in the AR-15 under 123gr at 2.230” to 2.260” COL, depending on the bullet.

123gr SMK and 123gr Scenar are longer than other 123gr bullets, so you will need to account for COL and projectile intrusion into the case.

If you’re loading Hornady 123gr ELD-M, A-MAX, SST, or BTHP, from a known chamber, you’ll top-out in that 31.0-31.5gr range.

31.0gr gave me 2534fps from the 22” Howa barrel spitting the 123gr SST, which is plenty of performance.

I have heard LVR can be dirty in an AR. Main bullet I will be loading will be the 120 gr. Ballistic Tip which has a longer bearing surface than the match style bullets. Will start a bit low and work up in new brass.

Going to start at 29.5 and work up .5 at a time. Might end up at 30.0 grains. Gotta be gentle on my brass.

If you want top velocities in an AR look up 85gn or 97gn Hammer bullets, they get faster velocities than most others. Im getting 2800 with the 97gn AH.

I don't really try for top velocities often just a good easy on my cases accurate load, I figure a 120 gr, Ballistic Tip will work just fine at 2500 fps. Even 2400 fps. I do shoot the 90 grain TNT but only because it is a great replacement bullet for the Wolf steel case stuff. That works with the 100 gr. Partition also.

I shoot 31gr. And 30.7gr. Of LVR with 123 Amax and 123gr. Scenar out of my 18" AR-15 with surefire suppressor.Approx 2530fps. 85deg.
The scenars hit consistently to 1000yards. The AMAX as well but a little more dialing in mainly due to lower BC.

Slight flattening of the primers but I've been shooting it no problem for several thousand rounds over the last 6 years or so.
I had one extractor failure.
