Comes with the bolt and charging handle. I guess for that price if it didn’t shoot you could replace the barrel with a Monster Logo barrel from BFT.

I ordered the 20" heavy barreled upper for $199. Probably shoot it to see how the barrel does and then buy a 6 ARC barrel from 65outfitters.

Based on my experience with a side-charger upper from BCA that had the loosest barrel fitment of any receiver I've seen, I wouldn't waste your time or money. You tend to get what you pay for...

My Son in Law bought a 20” BCA 6.5 Grendel side charger on sale for himself just before Christmas. He never follows gun forums and just saw the good price. He showed it to me and it looked ok on the outside. I wouldn’t have bought it but he did so some day maybe we’ll see how it shoots. My SinL has several firearms he’s never shot. I told him we could sight it in at my house but so far hasn’t happened. I planned on taking pictures and doing a range report. BCA seem to have fewer issues with stainless steel barrels compared to Nitride or CMV steel.


Bear Creek has a to bad a reputation for me to spend my money there. It is really luck of the draw with BCA.

I’ve had only one BCA barrel & was not impressed with the product or their customer service…..it was a .223 bbl.

The one I ordered should be here in a couple of days, will test fire immediately after inspection. I have three of their uppers, 350 Legend, 6.5 Grendel and 223 Wilde all M4 contour barrels. All function and shoot plenty good.

I have a 18" stainless 6.5G upper coming tomorrow. I have one of their 450bm and it shoots very well.

The 20" I have from them is very accurate. I did have to swap out the extractor. For what little I paid, it was a good entree into the Grendel world.

I got my 6.5G 18" stainless upper yesterday, put a Hawke 1.5x5 on it and broke down to clean it before heading to range. The gun was ready to go straight from factory. Very clean and lightly oiled. No packing grease, just out of box ready to shoot. At range I had 60 rds of Hornady black 123gr ELDM. I had eyeballed the scope sight and ran target out to 50yds. shot hit low left, dialed scope to impact and put next 3 very close to in same hole. Ran target to 100yds and started testing. The gun ran 100% never any failures and grouped very well. Not one group was over MOA with the 123gr eldm. I didn't do any barrel break in or cleaning between shots or groups. Just shot it. I ran a 5" 6.5 GA precision titanium can from start. Attached a few photos. This was my 2nd upper from BCA, I have a 450BM that shoots great also. I'm going to reload some 85gr hammers and try soon.

Looks like they have complete rifles on sale now for 360, that could be a good beater rifle potentially. Put iron sights and light and use it as a driving around gun stowed in your Mule or whatever.

My upper arrived< I got it on paper with Wolf FMJ and finished sight in with the same ammo but the bullet replaced with the Speer 90 grain TNT.



However here are a series of pictures on the uppers delivery by FedEx. It rained on it also.
