Not a grendel, but need help choosing a barrel

I am putting together a 7.62x39 AR-15 and not sure what barrel to use. Which is better between kak industries and bear creek arsenal? Also for the x39 should I go with a 16" or 18"?

IF it were me, I wouldn't buy anything from BCA (Ber Creek). They are too hit/miss from past experience.
Others may like them but I would definitely go elsewhere.
Should be something from faxon, Ballistic advantage, wilson combat, or some decent outfit.
16 or 18, depends on what MV's you want. I have no exposure to the cartridge.

Plus one. And I'd be inclined to go with the 16" barrel.

KAK is good to go. Their barrels are from Green Mountain, same maker of the Six Five Outfitters barrels (built to different specs, though).

Avoid BCA - they have a spotty reputation at best.
