Riton Scope

Has anyone used a Riton scope for their rig, your thoughts on the glass, or any other info? I'm looking at the 5 PRIMAL 3-18×44 for my 6.5 grendel Ruger American.

Not familiar with them at all…….Vortex, Leupold, Nightforce all have a proven track record

Thanks. I have looked at a Vortex in 6X20 and was not impressed with how much it got boxy at 20 power.

They're local to me here in Tucson. Glass is clear... I personally don't like the options they have with regards to feature set. Where I hunt, and for my use, I need capped or locking windage and elevation, good zero stop, I prefer FFP. If they had a combo that had all the things I wanted I'd try them.

That being said I'm picking up a 1-8 X3 for T/E for work this week.

Vortex just released their new strike eagle in 3-18, FFP, capped windage, zero stop on elevation... looks like a great scope, for the price, for a grendel imho. I currently use their 3-15 PST gen II

For most of my life i have used a fixed power 4x scope on all of my rifles except a 222 rem with a 6x on it. Even my 270 wears a 4x scope. I much prefer the wider field of view they offer. The grendel is a different animal and i will be stretching it's legs on antelope and long range work.

I have one of the 3-18 on my Howa. Bought it several years ago. I like it overall for the price. Glass is nice on it. The warranty is good, I had an issue and had to swap the scope and they were very easy to work with and helpful.
