Barnes Vor-Tx 115 gr 6.5 Grendel in stock?

Been looking for Barnes Vor-Tx 115 gr 6.5 Grendel in stock. Any of the places I find that say it is in stock look like a scam. Did not realize how many ammo scam sites there are out there.

Anyone know where I can find these in stock from a reputable retailer?

While not the TSX bullet, Copper Creek has some of the LRX and the Hornady CX.

I know these aren’t exactly what you seek, but if your goal is for a solid copper, lead free bullet these can at least get you started.

Ah, so these are companies that handload? I haven't seen these. I am just looking for some good hunting loads for deer. I will check them out. Thank you!

Yup, they get the bullets and load them into their own ammo.

I’m not up to speed on the difference betwen the 100, 115 and 120 gr 6.5 bullets. Does anyone know if there is a different/lower minimum expansion velocity for the 15s that Barnes loads for the Grendel?

That is very good information to have. I have two boxes of 120 grain Nosler ballistic tip on order to start reloading. Never done reloads before, but pulled down the load data from Nosler and am looking forward to rolling my own for next season. This season, hunting with SSTs.

Thanks LRRPF52. That explains why they only load the 115s in Grendel, like they do with the 110 and 120 gr bullets in the 300blk.

With a bit of luck they’ll get a load developed for the 6ARC soon. I’m going to do a hog hunt in late October and would love a solid copper load.

Thanks ND. Appreciate it. Most of the folks there were missiles, Security Forces and support personnel. Minot was not considered one of the "luxury" assignments. I used to duck hunt a lot and love bird hunting, so I would have probably been in paradise.
