85-90gr class and imr 3031

Load data is kinda hard to find for this powder in the Grendel. Speer lists it but no idea what barrel length they used to get their speeds. I’d like to use velocity as a sign to stop going up in charges. Where would be a safe place to stop grain wise ? I have a 20” barrel thanks

Speer used a 24 inch universal reciver for all of their grendel data.

Damn. If I was to get it maxed out that would be around 2750 in my rifle, prob not worth trying it.

Fella over on the 24 hour campfire was using 28 gr 3031 as his accuracy load for upto 140 gr bullets. He was going to back down for the 140s though.

FWIW

Not the 85-90 gr class but I use 26.0gr of IMR3031 with the NOE 126gr FN. I get 2300fps from a 20".
