Long background story, but I am building another Grendel. The current barrel of choice is a ballistic advantage 16 SPR. The rest of the rifle is PSA, BCG came from AIM surplus. Its a mid-length gas system. This rifle used to be a 5.56 unit, but I wanted another Grendel to hunt with. Im just wondering if the gas block isnt aligned or something? (Apparently BA doesnt dimple their barrels) I thought I had it lined up, but at the first range session I had several failures to eject completely (stove pipes mostly). Now Im thinking I need to put the original carbine buffer back in it (has H2 in it now). Idunno, not sure what the problem is. Suggestions on what to check?
