Yote Down

Went out on the porch and spotted this yote in the "briar patch". I know better to go out without being fully dressed and prepared. Almost every time I do, it seems I see something I need to go investigate.....
I had on HOUSE SHOES ! Live, Learn,,,,and FORGET.
He was occupied with an old carcass, and I was able to get to within about 100yds of him before the mesquite and huisatche got toooo bad. Made the shot from a kneeling position (in the thorns), and it hit a tad high taking out both front shoulders, and a good bit of meat. Had to finish him with the sidearm.

Thanks. The 123 sst does a good job for my needs, and they "used to be" reasonably priced.
I'm starting to get a little low on components, and at these prices, can't afford to do any "experimental" loading when some can be found . Especially primers.
