Most of my reloading dies are RCBS and Hornady, and Lee for the pistols. I need to order dies for the Grendel, and dont have a particular preference as to maker. Does the Grendel Horde have a preference?
Ill start off pig hunting with Hornady factory 123 gr SSTs, and when Ive used up a bunch of them, Ill start working up loads with Nosler 100 gr Ballistic Tips and BL-C(2) powder (all I have on hand thats a good burn rate).
The rifle is mostly an Odin Works, with an 18 barrel. What velocity are you guys getting with those factory Hornady 123s?

Foster grendel dies is what I use for my ar grendels. Full length sizing die and micrometer seating die.

I run an Odin Works 18" DMR profile and get 2424 fps with factory 123 Hornday custom. My sst reload using 27.2 grs of 8208 runs 2416 fps.

I got 2493 FPS for factory 123 grain SST from an 18 6.5 Grendel AR-15 using a MagnettoSpeed Chronograph on a 70 degree day. I use Hornady standard 6.5 Grendel dies and they are good dies for the money. I have a set of RCBS 264 Grendel dies which are small base dies which I think over work the 6.5 Grendel brass. I have several 6.5 Grendel AR-15s so this might be more of a issue than someone who only uses his reloads in one firearm. I have a Forster sizing die but I have never used it mainly because of family obligations have reduced my available time.
Lee dies tend to over work the brass which tends to reduce brass life.

Thanks fellows! That was info I was after. I finally decided on Redding dies, which arent small base but are SAAMI minimum.

For your reference, I found an H335, 100 gr Nosler loads out of the Grendel reloading handbook.
2.2-2.225 COAL, 28grs starting load with 30.7 Max at 2744 fps.
Not sure how well BLC will work with the 100gr projectiles. Let us know how it does.

Thats moving pretty fast. What barrel length was used?

Good question, sorry oversight on my part. The H335 load referenced above was a 24" barrel.
