Anyone done a AR lefty 6.5 Grendel build

Has anyone done an AR-15 Left Hand 6.5 Grendel build.
Looking for upper receiver with out a barrel
Best lower
And who's shooting long range, a.k.a Barrel length.

There is a google custom search feature on the forum. I’m sure you’ll find some post for people who assembled left hand AR-15’s in 6.5 Grendel.

A forum member with screen name mel posted quite a bit about his 28” 6.5 Grendel shooting in Idaho. You might find his post interesting.

Thanks. I looked at a 28" Krieger, so inless I'm wrong, which happens more than I like
they only work with JP bolts, and I find no left hand bolts from JP.

What are you using?

I think Maxim Firearms is the only company producing left hand 6.5 Grendel bolts. I think the JP bolt are interchangeable with any 6.5 Grendel barrel. I’d assume Krieger only stocks JP bolt and probably head space the barrel to the JP bolt. The JP 6.5 Grendel bolts get very good reviews but tend to be more expensive than other 6.5 Grendel bolts.


I only posted the link about 28” velocities because another forum member mentioned he’d just received his 28” 6.5 Grendel. I suspect a 28” 6.5 Grendel will pick up about 50-70 FPS higher velocity compared to a 24” barrel.
