VV N130 on scenar 120 and 123grn

Hi,

I just came across 3 kilos of vv n130, at the moment I load scenar123grn with N133.

Would I be able to use n130 on scenar 120 or 123grn in a safe way?

Just asking cause I can't find any n133 or n135 and these 3 kilos are at a discaount so would really help me out for a few months

For 6.5 Grendel, the VV reloading manual only shows loads using bullets up to 108gns for N130. I'd suspect you wouldn't get very good velocities with that powder using 120/123gn bullets. I have some N133 I got to use with .223 Rem but since it looks like it might be a good Grendel powder, I might make up some loads with Hornady 123gn SSTs & Speer 120gn Gold Dots to see how they work in my rifles.

I don’t see any published data for N130 under a 123gr Scenar or any 123gr.

The heaviest bullet with VV N130 data is 108gr Scenar, then no more N130 from then-on-up.

Alexander Arms started off with N140 under 123gr Scenar.

VV started with N135 under the 123gr Scenar, then N133, then N530.
