Picked up a 12 barrel off a member here (Red Dawn) for my first Grendel experience.
Assembled and patiently waited for a nicer day to get it sighted in.
I was able to sneak out this morning and get it bloody. Last weekend of doe season in Nebraska.

Dead right there. Tiny entrance and no exit.

you best give us a pic of that recovered bullet then, and maybe weight of bullet, and also if you don't mind, give us the muzzle velocity out of that little booger and the elevation where you shot that deer...I'll go full ballistics nerd on that for ya just give me all that info please
oh, congrats, nice shootin
in the meantime I'd guess 2300 fps launch, 3000' elevation, 1875 fps impact, so it would be nice to see that bullet and finalize some of these details, good example nearing the 1800 fps impact I had from a 16" at 420 yards this year but I had an exit so never got to see the bullet

I always forget something
Ill do better next time because that would be good info to gather.
Im at right around 2000 elevation.
2225 fps at 25*F when I shot the sight in rounds.
My ballistic calc had impact at approx 1785fps. Dialed up 1.9 mils
