New firmware update-1.2.6

Here is what is new or fixed:

Firmware A: v1.2.6

Bug Fixes and improvements:
- Changed the inactivity max time when armed to 600sec like stated in the manual (from 300s)
- Fixed a bug that sometimes displayed a white screen when pressing delete without a shot in a serie
- Fixed a bug that triggered an acquisition when pressing "Create Series" while armed
- Fixed a bug that froze the screen when pressing the "Menu" button while in the "delete" or "create series" screen
- Fixed connection denial while armed
- Now ignore shot with v0 over 1500m/s
- Raised the delay between the crystal startup and the PLL

The connection (reconnection) denial while armed is the big one for me. I'll be installing this. Have they updated the App any as well? It would be nice if it were more aggressive about autoreconnecting.

Seems like the Bluetooth is more stable. Was able to set both screen timeouts to 600s. I haven't had any trouble with anything else they fixed.

upgraded this morning. Easy to do. Haven't run it yet, so can't comment on anything changing, the only difference I see is the Firmware A number is different now on start-up - so far.

Went to update this morning since I still hadn't updated to 1.2.6. Looks like there was another update recently as 1.2.7 is available from their website. No patch notes and can't find any info on differences from 1.2.6 to 1.2.7.

Well that's intersting. I'm happy with the improvement 1.2.6 brought. I'm curious what they tweaked with 1.2.7

Anybody installed 1.2.7 yet?
Edit: I'm gonna pass on this til I see some evidence that it is legit.

Updated from 6 to 7 and used it yesterday at the range - it registers '1.2.7' on the startup screen and worked fine.
Not sure what the upgrade is between 6 and 7 but always impressed to see that without external power for a few weeks all the settings are still retained, including the right time.

Speed is Fine, Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.

Thanks for the update. Did you try to use the bluetooth?

I don't use the Bluetooth ap anymore. On my iPhone it drops out unexpectedly at least once every session. Once the novelty wore off I went back to pressing the buttons on the machine. Let's be honest, it's all within arms reach.

True, but I worry the mechanical leverage on the mount will pull of target. That, and the interface is pretty primative. Now that it reconnects while armed, I personally like the App much better.

That is why I mounted a Red Dot on my Labradar, much faster and more accurate to aim, and you can tell at a glance if it has moved for any reason. I really like my Labradar, but the case could really stand to be reinforced around the tripod mounting point.

That's a good idea - What sort of red dot are you using? Do you have a photo?
How easy would that be for Labradar to install one in the frame. It only needs to go 100yds and red lasers are cheap as chips.

I contacted Labradar support yesterday and here is the reply I received today about the 1.2.7 update:

Klem, will get back to you later this PM on the photo, I used a cheap CVLife red dot from amazon and a mount from E-Bay.
I used a large plastic speed square to co-witness the sight, took a little fiddleing to get aligned properly, but once done it worked out well.

Labradar updated the 1.2.7 update with the change log. I went ahead and updated my unit and the bluetooth still works ok.

Has no change log included with it.
I installed the update on my Labradar and it connected to my older phone fast with no problems. I did check the mobile app version for Android and it is still the same, 2.5.2. The Apple mobile app is still version 2.0.
Maybe this will fix the issues connecting that people are having.
