Alexander arms has Hornady brass $75 per 100. Shipping to me would have been $17.95. Didn’t pull the trigger on it but it was nice to see some hornady available. It’s been awhile

Don't know about you guys but I've found I get split necks with the hornady brass or maybe they had a bad batch..

Could be the neck splitting comes from over-cold working during sizing. Do you spray some one shot especially into the inner neck/case mouth area while spraying the cases... I had some splitting a few yrs back, switched to the one shot ensuring the case mouth got some too and haven't seen any splitting since. I even monitor the new cases being sized to make sure not to add too much work hardening from dry case mouths.
One idea anyway.

yep I use the dillon spray case lube and make sure inside the necks get a spray

Question for those using spray lube does the line effect bullet grip? I was. Reading the relies and then looked up the hornady one shot spray. Goes on wet. Dries and leaves a film. Says no need to tumble after sizing. Seems that the film would ever how tightly the neck grips the bullet to me if the film is not removed and application could be inconsistent as far as different sides of the neck. I am not a high volume and have always used the pad for exterior sizing lube application and a nylon brush rolled on the pad for the neck. Sized all the brass and then walnut media tumbled. I use a new brass brush after in the neck to remove any dust prior to loading

Prior to sizing my brass cases I soak them for about 10 minutes in Birchwood Casey's Brass Cartridge Case Cleaner solution. The bottle says 5 minutes which is fine but 10 minutes doesn't hurt the brass & they're as clean as they're gonna get. After rinsing thoroughly in hot water & letting the brass air dry, I spray the cases with Hornady's case lube making sure the inside of the necks get lubed. After sizing the brass I soak the cases again in the case cleaner solution. This is a different solution batch than the one used in the first cleaning. I go 5 minutes for this soak. At this point, after rinsing & air drying again, I have primed & reloaded the brass as is. But, sometimes, to make the cases shinier, I'll run them about an hour in my vibratory tumbler using untreated walnut shell & then prime them. I use cotton swabs soaked in denatured alcohol to remove any residual walnut dust from inside the case necks. Sometimes, to speed up the process, I'll put the wet brass under a heat lamp. Using my process, the Hornady case lube affecting bullet grip has never been an issue for me.

I don't clean it off and my grendel shoots 1/2" groups at 100yd so for what I'm doing its fine..

I tried One Shot. Wasn’t impressed.

I use a Sinclair universal decapper. Then vibratory tumble in corn cob media. Brush the inside of the necks. Apply a very small amount of Redding Imperial sizing wax……..Never in the case mouth. Size, wipe clean and put them in the block. I’ve done it this way for a good many years and have never had any issues.

FWIW…….. I take the sizing dies apart and clean them about every 1k rounds.
