Just read the sad news about forum member Rabiddawg's tragic death.
Apparently, when it rains, it pours....
Was driving back from vacation today when I got a call from his wife that forum member Dan "Sneaky" Palvere had died of a heart attack two weeks ago. He was only 60. She wanted me and all his other friends on the forum to know.
They were at a resort with extended family for a wedding, when Dan went back to his room complaining of not feeling good. He went to lie down, tried to drink some water but vomited it up, then fell back and died. He had had some underlying medical conditions, but this has come as a shock.
Attempts by local emergency personnel to revive him were futile.
Sneaky's reloading knowledge gained by extensive experimentation on the ragged edge was exceeded only by his friendly nature, as many of you know.
The funeral was held on September 24.
May Sneaky rest in peace and our condolences are with his wife and family.

He will be missed. I so enjoyed his insight, having to learn to read code to decipher some of his posts ; ) My father passed in a similar fashion many years ago. Dad wasn't feeling well and went upstairs to lay down. He never made it to the bed. A massive heart attack took him from us.
May God provide strength and comfort to Sneaky's family.

It seams like yesterday Sneaky was helping me and giving me support when my mother was dying of cancer. Sneaky was as good as they get and I'm at a lost for words at this moment. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sneaky loved his family as they were the center of his life.. Condolences and prayers to his family and close friends...

Sneakys phone conversations tended to be more reserved than his posts. Nonetheless, he definitely pushed the boundaries.

Man I hate to read this post. Sneaky was one those that you listened to as he gained a wealth of knowledge from experience and shared it.

Dammit man I hate to hear this. Sneaky and I did a lot of bullet testing together, sort of a long distance relationship you could say. We had several phone convos and exchanged pics of our hunting grounds while on stand or in a blind. He and I both kinda moved away from experimenting as much because of work, life, etc. I saw some old pics just a couple days ago and was thinking of reaching back out to him. Gonna miss you Dan. He was a great contributor here and privately. John, please send my regards to his wifey as he always referred to her.

Condolences to his family. I lost my dad a few years ago.
You know there are a couple ( a couple??) more oldies on here as well, me included, and none of us are getting any younger.
Gonna be a Horde a-formin' up in the sky, we can't shoot targets down here forever.
Each one of us needs to be sure our soul is truly ready.

Wow, that is a bummer. Had numerous phone conversations with him and emails. Very dynamic minded individual.

Another tough break for us. I respected that fellow as a guy who did what he said he was going to do. Condolences to his family and friends.

Dang sneaky as well.
Sneak was a heck of a good dude. We talked often over the years. Been out of touch with him for as long as I was rabiddawg.
This has been a sad couple of weeks lately.
So long good buddy, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Didn't know Sneaky like some here, but sounds like an upstanding guy who would gladly share his knowledge. My sincerest condolences to his family.
