Not a stainless barrel, but this is my experience with a PSA 12" CARBINE-LENGTH 6.5 GRENDEL 1/8 NITRIDE 10" LIGHTWEIGHT M-LOK UPPER - WITH BCG & CH.

I put a LaRue TranQuilo muzzel device on it and built a lower to go with it.

I bought this upper a few years back and there is no way I would pay the price they are asking for it now. Just my opinion.

Here are some 3 shot groups from today with it, using Hornady Black 123gr eld-m ammo. Last two pics have a 5 shot group fired by me with a tape for scale.

Probably not a bad price for just the barrel.

As with any rack grade barrel, it’s luck of the draw. I have the full kit that comes with that barrel and it’s a shooter. Sub-MOA out of the box, and consistently since. My wife likes it so much that she just ordered the same kit I did. My stepdad also just ordered one as well. Don’t know about either of those yet, but one of my buddies got his shortly after I did, and his is similar quality to mine.

I could be wrong, but doesn’t PSA offer a 1.5 MOA guarantee for their stainless barrels? That’s good enough for a coyote at 300 yards.

I bought the PSA 12" upper on sale last year, dipping my toe in the Grendel waters.... ZERO REGERHTS!

Great shooting little gun, sub MOA right out of the box with the Hornady American Gunner 123gr "Mid grade" stuff I was able to buy 200 round packs at like $0.70

I put it on a "TRASH PANDA" lower and then slowly changed bits and bobs.


Just bought the 18" build kit on even better sale a few weeks ago. No results yet, but I have high hopes.
