Just joined the Grendel club. Hi all

Got me a new howa mini barrelled action in an excl stock. I bedded the stock this week and took to range. Shoots same hole on the 25yard range during break in. About to reload with 100g eld m and new Starline brass. I have Imr 8208xbr and some lever evolution. This will be my target and day hunt deer stalking rifle. Nice n light but accurate.

I plan to follow Nosler best load data to get started. Your experience welcomed.

Welcome.

I am using the 100ELD-M lately, but only because the Nosler and Sierra's are unavailable here right now. Plus it was on special at the time.

I load 29.6 of 8208 at 57mm OAL. The reason for the short OAL is to get enough shank to firmly grip the bullet so it doesn't shift getting slammed into the chamber. At 57mm it is 4mm of shank in contact. Not so important with a bolt gun of course.
