Just received my Burris fullfield IV 2.5-10 x 42 with the illuminated E3 reticle in the mail and can’t wait to get it mounted up on my 18” 6.5 Grendel that I built last year.

I was trying to upload pictures of the scope but it wouldn’t let me upload them and backed out of the post I didn’t realize it had posted that’s why there were not any details to begin with

Yeah I wasn’t sure at first how small the reticle was going to be, but I think it’s the perfect size. The illumination dial has 11 settings and on the higher settings and the way the reticle is set up you could almost use it just like a red dot for close up action

G'day TG,

Sorry to dig this up - how is the Burris? Seriously considering one for my Howa mini that's on order.

Mine will be for shorter range hunting at dawn/dusk and under spotlight (legal in Australia)

My only concern is the reticle - I'm old fashion and don't like all the clutter. How do you find it when illuminated and hunting?
