when I saw result i switched to wolf 100 gr with same results
this past weekend range trip......
again at 50 yd
scope and mount seem nice and tight just like on my other rifles
combloc russian barrel should be better at 50 yd
maybe groups will tighten up after 500 rd?? (thats a lot of $$)
3 inch group at 50 yd
saiga 223 at 100 yd is max 2-3 inches

well, in all fairness I would expect a 762x39 with irons to shoot like this off a bench. add a decent optic and get it out to 100 ok
My Saiga223 shoots a ton more accurate. disappointing to say the least.
I wonder if your Vepr 6.5/Grendel is way over gassed which might produce more barrel whip just like with the Mini 14/30. There are adjustable gas pistons for Aks but Ive never used them. Id also look at the barrel crown.

The barrel is crowned as the smith has done for all my ak. i removed the brake with no change as well. The gassing would be something to look into. kns makes a fine adjustable piston. will post with more....
