As I am new to the Horde I am looking for some suggestions for my AA 6.5. Three items I could use some help with. 1. Scope recommendations, 2. Bipod suggestion and 3. Scope mount. The AA has a 24 inch barrel. Use will be primarily target shooting and limited deer hunting.

1500.00 would be about where my accountant says I need to be. Night force is the way I am leaning.

I plan on target shooting about 600 yards max and deer hunting about 150 max.

The weaver 3x15 tactical EMDR is great for the money. Glass is great and tracks well. I have had one on my grendel for about a year with no problems. Bobro mount.

For a $1500 budget, I would look at NightForce and a Vortex Viper PST FFP 4-16x50. For a mount, I would look at AAD 20 MOA cant for a dedicated 1-piece base, and LaRue LT-112 with 20 MOA cant for a QD mount.
The best bipod set-up I have ever used on the AR is a TRG with a custom TRG receptacle mounted to the handguard, but those are unavailable here. I like the Tango Down bipod the best I would say, but I personally use Harris BR-S, and fight with them all the time. The bipod code has not been totally cracked yet, in my opinion.

Yea they're expensive, I think a friend of mine is going to get one for his new build. I'll definitely have to check it out and see how much better if any it is than my sinclair tactical bipod.

I use one of their FClass bipods now.

I second or third the motion for the Larue Tactical QD mounts. Using them will let you swap back and forth between a long-range 'target' scope and perhaps a lighter 3x9 scope for hunting without losing zero in either. It's the only QD mount I trust to maintain zero.
