Buy Spare Upper now or not?

Considering the political mess we are in, is it a good time, or bad time to buy a complete upper,,just for a spare?

Great time if u can find it. If you don’t overpay you can always dump it if the situation gets better. A lower would be a good idea too

I understand via internet jabber that they are considering changing that since there have been some court cases where they ruled that (the lowers) don't qualify as a "weapon" by NFA standards. I don't know if that's true or not, but with IF and when the new administration gets in there, I don't know what will happen. I'd hate to get stuck with several guns to pay the $200 "TAX", or whatever you call it. I don't/didn't follow politics closely until now, but they have gone nuts with the "Executive Orders", and if they can get away with it, they can "choke" the 2nd amendment to the point that we can have "some kind" of a gun, but no ammo or components for reloading. We'll still have the right to possess and bear arms,,but???
I am not "worried", but I am VERY CONCERNED. I am a Christian and a law abiding citizen, and as such, I will continue to abide by the "LAWS" UNLESS they contradict the Bible, which supersedes man's law by a long shot.(pun intended)

I don't remember the specifics but I've read the ATF requirements for a firearm and it says something about it must contain the bolt or something like that. Who knows what these idiots will do, but we all know which part has the serial number.
Seems to me the older the lower is the better because if they start at the manufacturers tracking serial numbers, they're probably going to start with the most recent.

The LaRue Ultimate Upper or something from Wilson Combat might be a good choice. Your probably looking for an extended delivery time and both are proven to eventually deliver. Alexander Arms and PF are known to have longer shipping times but both give additional options in different price range.

Waiting on a LaRue Ultimate Upper .223/5.56 and a Wilson Combat AR 10 Lower. Already have AR 15 lower but will probably want another. Also have a Wilson Combat 6.5 Creedmore barrel, etc.
