"Patriots and Protestors" Stormed the Capitol Building while Congress in Session
#21
Here's an example of the media corruption we face in this country. I was in the gym today on the treadmill late in the afternoon. In front of me were 8-10 big TV screens (all on mute) on various channels...CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, FOX, CBS, ESPN/ESPN2, and 2-3 local stations. Most were covering the protests in D.C. Wile talking heads were infuriated on CNN, they had a by-line stating "Trump maintains his silence while violence rages in D.C." I looked over to the left, and on FOX, their by-line read, "WH: Trump reiterates the need to remain calm in D.C." And then further to the left, a local station covered the protests with "Trump calls for the national guard in response to protests".

We aren't allowed to carry cell phones in the gym, otherwise you'd be seeing that image, highlighting the CNN lie which they've done throughout Trump's tenure. Long ago, the major media in the U.S. traded in their biased reporting for outright dishonesty and corruption.

For people who watch only CNN, CBS, MSNBC, or another Trump- and conservative-hating station, it's obvious why they believe like they do - what else would they know? Every one of these networks refused to report on the Biden money laundering investigation (which the U.S. Justice Dept reported in Sept/Oct). And every one denounces election fraud as baseless, in spite of the numerous examples on film and otherwise. Virtually every change in state election rules had 2 common factors - they favored Biden and eliminated the need to verify the voter.

I don't condone violence/ But I also don't condone corruption and dishonesty in the media and an outright fraudulent election not found in most 3rd world countries. Republicans best study the ways of the Democrats if they plan to win future elections.
If the Democrats had been in power when this country was founded, we'd be the British.

Good idea. Let's all sit on our thumbs around a campfire, and pretend the election was honest.

Better yet, let's count on a corrupt media to continue their honest and fair reporting that they've done over the past 4 years, knowing they'll expose all the corruption.

You might disagree, but sometimes you have to rise up and make your concerns heard, especially when writing letters to the editor just doesn't get the job done.

There's a double standard in this country and it cannot continue.

You may disagree but this did not help "our" side one bit.

I have no idea if the election was stolen or not. All I've heard is speculation which won't and shouldn't convict anybody. If there is any hard evidence of this, why haven't we seen it?
Buy the time all the illegals here now are given citizenship and with our borders open, it's unlikely Republicans will ever win anything again.
Obama said he was going to fundamentally change this country and that is exactly what is happening.

Lemonaid Wrote:Klem, rigged elections here are a pretty big deal. What kind of machines or ballot process are in use where you live? Are you confident the tally is accurately reflecting the vote? Would you go quietly away or protest if there was massive fraud? Hope you never have to find out.

Lemonaid,

In answer to your questions;

In Oz we have compulsory voting at schools and civic buildings and for expats living overseas, Oz embassies and consulates. We also have a postal voting system of filling out paperwork with signatures of voter and a witness. Postal voting is not automatically available to everyone, you have to apply for it prior to the day. There is no machine counting that I am aware, I believe (but don't quote me) that all counting is manually done by volunteers with procedures in place to double check.

Am I confident the [US] tally is accurately reflecting the vote? Like millions of people, I don't know for sure, but I am not going to take the losing person's word for it. For me, without evidence I consider whether the outcome is consistent with what is possible. It is not inconceivable that Trump could be voted out by a majority and so it is possible that it is a fair reflection of democracy. If Trump was voted back in it would be the same; it is not inconceivable and therefore I would be comfortable with that outcome too. So, No I don't know and it is not my place as a foreigner to have a strong opinion either way. It just seems legit.

Would I go quietly if there was "massive fraud"? No, but I would have to be utterly convinced with evidence there was fraud in the first place. Plus there is the obvious conflict-of-interest possibility that an outvoted President is lying to save himself. Are you confident he is telling the truth? Has he ever lied or exaggerated in his interests?

Would I go quietly If I was in his shoes and was legitimately voted out? Yes I would go quietly, and be damn gracious about it. It is what democracy is all about; I love it, it is what we protect and risk our lives for.

Hey, look on the bright side, your gun laws can't get any worse than ours.

Yes, we have issues with China at the moment. On the one hand we are reliant on trade with them (and they know it) and on the other we are a sovereign nation. Serves us right for putting all export trade in one convenient basket, and now we are paying for it.

Boy, that's comforting. Biden has sworn he will ban all semi auto rifles and carbines by executive order within 100 days. I put it at about ten days because the left in the USA views firearms as a symbol of their enemies and leftists are always about symbolism over reality. Executive Order is an order by one man without the approval of Congress. Its one thing giving an executive order to streamline the FDA drug process due to Covid. Another to give one that oppresses the population by violating their constitutional rights.

Our gun laws are based on our Constitution. Very clearly stated in the 2A. Australia doesn't have a Bill of Rights. So don't confuse your gun laws with our rights. Two very different things.

The president has been preaching sedition for months with false accusations of fraud.

The extremists and sheep drink the Haterade he provides and echo his cries and prove their hypocrisy when they demand law and order on one side of their mouth but break it themselves (halting Biden campaign bus on highway, storming capital, death threats on politicians, kidnapping plots against Michigan governor).

This was an act of insurrection and will be remembered as such. Donald Trump had his Beer Hall Putsch and like Hitler failed.

In law, fraud is intentional deception to secure unfair or unlawful gain,

Democratic governors changing election laws on their own illegally is fraud. There is nothing false about the accusations of fraud in this election. Laws were broken all over the place.

Mate,

I'm not confusing gun laws with rights, or I think you mean privileges with rights. Yes, Australia has no right to bear arms, only privilege. That is my point, even under Biden your gun ownership rights will never be as restricted as our privilege.

Don't also forget there are only 765,000 registered Australian gun owners in a country of 24 million, compared with an estimated 1 in 4 gun owners in the US. A higher percentage of ownership along with a cultural identity and history forged with firearms (indigenous control, protection and hunting), plus a civil war means in 2021 US firearm owners have a lot of influence, insisting on access to guns to to protect themselves and their families. In Australia our population are largely the offspring of convicts so are culturally used to being subordinated. Unlike the States we have had no civil war which no doubt leaves a population with a healthy suspicion of government. We are also less individualistic by culture, not collectivistic like China but certainly the US would be more individualistic than we are. So, when the Government told us after a nutter committed mass murder with an AR15 in 1996 we can only have certain firearms then for the most part we did as were told, and life went on. I am not saying that is a better way, or better than the US but again, you have a long way to go before you get to this place.

Here's a question, if Biden bans military style semi-autos would it be a situation where if you already have one you can keep it, but no more in the shops (grandfather clause)? Or is he mooting an expensive gun buy-back?

Also notice that FakeBook, Twitter, and YouTube banned the President of the United States.

Also remember that they had no problem with Obama saying, “Vote for revenge" in 2012. Obama whose ghost-writer, Bill Ayers, is a convicted Weather Underground communist terrorist who killed people, planted bombs on the Capitol building.

Thankfully, you can watch what they don’t want you to see here.

If you haven’t watched any of the multiple State legislature hearings where hundreds of witnesses, hours of video evidence, expert testimony, and election records were submitted, then I can see how you might say that. I’ve watched enough of it from State-to-State to realize that there was a very well-coordinated effort to cease the counting of votes in the battleground States before Trump passed over the 270 EC vote threshold.

That’s when key people at every tabulation center (where witnesses came forward about and video evidence clearly shows) yelled out loud, “Stop the count. Everyone go home.”

They then proceeded to wheel out huge cases of printed ballots with no folds in them, some even from under tables that had been wheeled-in earlier, and kept a skeleton crew to quickly start running those ballots through machines.

When you look at all the tabulation data, you see this massive spike in vote counts that night/early morning, which took Biden from a losing position to a few thousand votes over the threshold.

It took them at least 3 days to rig Pennsylvania since Trump had over a 700,000 vote lead there.

The evidence is there to see though. You just have to be willing to look.

Most have already made up their minds and can’t be persuaded by the facts though.

Any student of US Presidential elections dating back over the last century would say:

“A guy who was literally rejected by his party for plagiarism and embellishing his school record, claiming he was top of the class with two degrees while quoting Churchill without attribution, who was actually bottom of the classs with one degree?”

“Wait, a sitting American President who had the largest surge in votes for him than any other, with down-ballot, who campaigned more than any President has ever even attempted, didn’t get reelected?”

“Wow, the guy that beat him must really have been inspirational, a superb speaker, with recognizable policies and an amazing campaign staff.”

Biden’s campaign staff were a joke. Their “command” of modern digital media was so low-rate, it paled in comparison to most popular youth-created YouTube channels.

They actually cringed when he got up to speak, along with his wife, who went ashen 4 days before the election when he said, “We can’t have 4 more years of George, George.....uh...”

Imagine one of the Founders:

“What manner of speech did this statesman give during his campaign?”

Us: “Well, he actually said he was still running for US Senate multiple times at rare public appearances with no audience, then said if we look him over and don’t like him, to vote for the other guy.”

Them: “This was a Presidential campaign speech?”

Us: “Not just one, but several of them. A few days before voting day, he said we can’t have 4 more years of a President who left office 12 years ago.”

Them: “Is he mad? Was he a hatter before getting into politics?”

Us: “He gave a speech in 2013 about having the doctors saw off his head to fix 2 aneurysms over 2 different surgeries. Medicine has come a long way, but not that far. He was a lifeguard who had a run-in with a fellow named Corn Pop though."

Correct, I haven't watched any of the hearings.
Are there no honest judges anywhere? Even the Supreme Court rejected this.
There is so much fake stuff online now how does anyone know what to believe and we surely won't be getting the truth from the media.
Why couldn't he have acted like the POTUS instead of a damn schoolyard bully? I personally heard several people who claimed to have voted for him once say they would not be doing it again simply because of that. It's as though he purposely tried to piss off as many people as he could and everyone he pissed off, went out of their way to vote against him.
BTW, I voted for him twice and tried to influence and many as I could to vote for him this time.
I'll be 65 on my next birthday and truly feel the USA as I've known it, is over with. I'll have to give Trump one thing though, no one else could have beaten hillary in 2016 so I figure he delayed this by four years.
I could not be any sicker about this.

Let us review, in a nation where a typical election turn out is in the 42% range give or take a few points, nationally, we have a total vote count of somewhere around 20,000,000 more votes than registered voters??? What else do you need to convince you that there is something rotten in Copenhagen? Even if it was equal, votes to registered voters, that would be very suspicious. That rarely happens in Communist Countries where everyone is required to vote or suffer terrible consequences.

Sinclair,

Your point is noted. But the curtains have closed on the election. So all of those who believe in the Second Amendment, and it’s expression, need to open your eyes. Complacency is what turned California into the den of snakes. Most of the laws that Biden will be proposing are modeled after guess what? California’s laws. I have lived this fight for almost 30 years. Myriads of legal challenges, 9 or 10 sitting right now in various stages in the 9th Circuit. The people in So-called “Free States” your illusion of immunity is gone. THIS IS REAL FOLKS, OUR butts are all in the sling. Ignore it at your peril!
