POF Revolution

I have a question for the hive mind.
Given that the POF Revolution is the same size as an AR-15 and the upper will fit on an AR-15 lower. And that the bolt must be bigger to handle the 7,62 NATO/.308 round. Wouldn't it make sense to be able to use a heavier bolt for the Grendel as in bigger in diameter with more meat around the locking lugs?

Possible if the Revolution larger 6.5 Grendel bolt could feed from a AR-10 size magazine. Who knows if a revolution upper with larger barrel extension and bolt would be compatible to the Mil Spec AR-15 magazine and mag well lower. The LMT Six 8 receiver set have it’s advantages over the AR-15 but no magazine kills the 6.5 Grendel from full adaptability to the Six 8 receiver. I think the 6.5 Grendel will suffer the same issue in the POF Revolution. The obvious solution is use the 6.5 Creedmoor or 6 Creedmoor in the Revolution.

Revolution has an AR-15 sized barrel extension, AR-15-ish sized bolt, but uses AerMet for the bolt.

It uses a POF AR-15 bolt carrier and upper as well.

There are only 9 parts that are different on it compared to their 5.56 equivalent.

If you look at how wide the spine is on the extractor, then look at the Revolution barrel extension, you can see where they omitted one of the barrel extension teeth to accommodate that extractor.

Frank said he had wanted to do this years ago, but was afraid to do it.

He finally knuckled down one day and did the engineering on it, and figured they could do it with the right materials.

Glad you clarified that POF is using different material in the bolt an barrel extension. I watched the video on the POF website and it is an interesting design.
