Rifle length upper with carbine length stock and buffer spring

So I treated myself to a new rifle length Grendel upper for xmas. Its a 24 inch but I don't have a rifle length tube, spring etc. yet. Is there any harm in shooting it with the carbine length stock and spring till I get the rest of the parts?

You should have no issues with your temporary set up.

No problem at all as long as you have the correct weight buffer.

Buffer and spring type is secondary too gas length. You can run any gas length on any type of buffer and spring.

I use a carbine length buffer and rifle length gas tube with no issues.
