Bought a Jard for my Howa Mini in 6.5 Grendel, very pleased! Smooth, crisp brake, couldn’t be happier. This is going on my coyote gun, a 22 inch thin barreled rifle I purchased at the beginning of the year. I am going out Tuesday to do some dog hunting. I am sighting it in tomorrow. Let you know how it works out, A2

How’s the blade feel? I find the factory trigger feels meh to me, cheapish.

Any more up date on these.
I have been reading and am frazzled as to which way to go. Jard or Timney, seems like it is split down the middle of which one folks like.

I have mine in an MDT chassis. This rig will see bench time and prairie dogs if I get my way about it.
The factory trigger I can deal with and is fine for a hunting rig in another mini.

In a small 3 experience sampling, 2 Jards have been returned for a refund. I replaced mine with a Timney and have been happy ever since.

I will never give jard my money again. I bought a t bolt trigger from them, they hadn't properly machined the trigger guard so it wouldn;t fit on any factory inlet and had so much metal left over that it was far from a home fix problem. Sent it back, and it took them more than a week after it arrived, Dean never explained the hold up. Get the new trigger, installed and it was heavy as can be (4ish pounds) and I couldn't get it to adjust in the range advertised without the safety being useless. There was also a huge let off; it would go from the 3pound range down to 8oz or lighter sharply (far too light for a field bunny and grouse gun with gloves on). Called jard, dean said 'yeah they've had some problems with these' and that was about it. The machinging around the tang was also garbage; it was about an eighth inch deeper than factory housing so the wood kept getting dinged in the field. Asked for a refund, dean bumblefucked the return and ended up charging me for another trigger instead of reimbursing for mine. Ended up waiting close to a month for the return to come in. The worst part is that he never even apologized, not for the bad triggers both times, not for messing up the return. I will reiterate, I will never give them my money again.

Timney website doesn’t specify for a mini, just shows a price. MidwayUSA shows two different ones, one being #60916, 8 oz-2.5 lb pull.

I would think that would be something advertised on his website. The only way I know about a mini specific Timney is here, odd to me.
