Any one that can offer advice for non-residents for hunting deer in Texas, Kentucky..

I have successfully hunted pronghorn in Wyoming, and points built up for other big game species. But the top of my bucket list is a nice whitetail buck. I don’t need big horn mossy oak. But to get a muley or whitetail in Wyoming, $4000-$6000. Can anyone recommend or offer any sources to aid me in my pursuit? Thanks to all A2

Since Texas is by far predominately private land, hunting deer on public lands is limited.

My suggestions,
1) search Google for a paid whitetail hunt. Many places offer "day hunts" though the quality will vary
2) befriend someone who owns private land and get permission to hunt

No waiting all license and tags are over the counter in Texas. That sight is one I moderate on, there are deals at times on hunts listed in there, some are expensive while others are not so much compared to other places. Some of the "management" bucks are nice representative animals for the area but do not meet the ranches management plans
