Anyone received an order for a complete upper from LaRue recently?

Twice this year I ordered mounts, they shipped in a few days. But I think they have their own line for those, so they can make it on demand.

The LaRue Grendel is well worth the wait. So much so....I ordered another, figured a little more pressure may just help you out!!! LOL!!!

I’ve been waiting on a handguard from Optics Planet for who knows how long now.

Can’t believe I overlooked the LaRue handguard options. I’m cancelling the Optics Planet order and getting one of the LaRue hanguards instead for my 10.5” Grendel.

I just noticed LaRue has a special where you order the Handguard and get the MBT-2S for $80 as part of a package deal.

I got tired of waiting and cancelled the order with LaRue. I ordered a Odin Works 6.5 Grendel from Optics Planet. Recently mounted a Leupold 3x9 50mm scope on it. Still haven't sighted it in yet. Thinking about ordering a LaRue 556 since I gave my son the Sig M400 I had.

As soon as I posted that I may order a 556 upper yesterday, I went to their website. I couldn't resist, so I ordered the LaRue Ultimate upper in .556. I wish this order would be filled as fast as the LaRue trigger I ordered. Took a week or less.

I ordered a 6.5G UU kit on 30 Nov. Showing GTG but that doesn't mean a lot. AR15 thread mentions 6.5G barrels is the hold up, which is no surprise. Supposedly a batch may be coming out next week.

I know everything is backed up right now but wondering if anyone can let me know if they have received an upper from LaRue. I placed my order on 8/4/2020 for a LaRue Ultimate Upper, 6.5 Grendel. I was hoping to get in before we went on vacation in 3 weeks. Thanks.

mine is out for delivery today. I ordered it the first week of July. I ordered a 300 blackout the same day, and have yet to get a ship date on that one.

I have a Leupold VX-R 3-9x40 with the Firedot reticle that should fit the rifle pretty well. I don't plan on shooting it beyond 250-300 yards, so that should be enough scope. It is supposed to be raining tomorrow; that should be a fine time to mount it. I will post a review when I get some rounds through it.

I was one of the lucky ones that purchased ammo back in the summer when it was still available. I bought the ammo what, 5 or 6 months before I had the upper. Looking around now I'm glad I did. 6.5 G is hard to find.

To bad you canceled your 6.5 grendel.

My 6.5 grendel UU kit along with a lot of other stuff on this order is scheduled to be delivered on 12-29. Received my LaRue lower 4 days after placing the order.
