My experience with a black hole weaponry 18” barrel

So I had a collection of parts and ended up with a good deal on an 18” .264 lbc BHW heavy stainless p-5 barrel I believe it is 1-8 twist. I had a matching aero receiver set I had picked up for $100 and a Swanky match trigger I got on clearance for $100+ , a matrix 15” slim free float forearm and some magpul furniture. The rifle was topped with a new in the box Nikon 3-9 predator hunting scope with the circle reticle with 3 circles and a point for ranging, I won for like $80-90 on eBay. I wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this rifle.

I’m a firearms instructor and have shot a lot of rifles over the years, this rifle has turned out to be my favorite. It is handy, points well, the trigger is great, the accuracy is phenomenal with just about any load minus wolf & with my 120gr loads the ballistics match my reticle perfectly out to 400 yards and I mean perfectly. It’s so funny that this rifle got slapped together with no forethought and ended up so perfect. The crazy thing Is this rifle has shot every non wolf bullet I’ve tried from 100-123gr into sub moa group consistently not just once in a while, it is also not picky about charge weight or powder. ( I’ve only used cfe223 & benchmark though).

Anyways I love this rifle and am thrilled with the accuracy of the barrel. I’m hoping they produce a 6mm arc barrel I’ll be all over that (because of the variety of 6mm bullets for loading) and have already started collecting parts.

BHW made EXCELLENT barrels! I had a couple uppers built on them. Absolute tack drivers! The company that took them over is worthless. A2

Their communication is certainly lacking, I wonder about quality.
