From the Texas panhandle. Feel like I need a bit more rifle for deer hunting.
I came across this site while waiting for my barrel to become available. Its a long story. However I'm swapping a 300bo for a grendel on an existing AR upper.
Information is what brought me here.

Welcome to the Horde. I'm just starting my own 6.5 Grendel build. I joined this forum to learn about the cartridge, and the various barrels, BCG's, and other parts to complete my own rifle.
Just going through the available information has saved me from making at least a couple of expensive mistakes. There's a ton of great information on these pages.

Welcome to the clan, 13sps, from another loyal Texian! Since you can see all the way to the north pole from the panhandle area, I guess you want something with a little more reach to it. The Grendel is an awesome reacher!
