I'v heard that vortex is literally the best flashhider.. so i wanna get it for my 6.5 build.
however on this page:

even though on top page they say 6.8, 6.5, the individual listing does not mention 6.5...
so..does vortex make flashhiders for 6.5G?

Any 6.5 will do, that is the diameter for the bullet.
In general, you want muzzle devices for 7.62 for Grendel. For the most part, makers standardize on 5.56 and 7.62 sized devices.

I would but BFT's flash hider before I would spend 90 bucks on the vortex.

I agree with A5BLASTER, the flash hider on six5arms looks great and spun up for BFT.

No. Flash hiders don't care about their orientation on the barrel. But if you like, you can time it for symmetry with shims. See my posts on that thread, pg. 2. I did it with mine just because I already had the shims, bought for another project that's on hold.

BTW, I can't say what's "literally the best" FS. But I can tell you that even the humble little three-prong suppressors from the 1960s M16s work pretty darned well. I have one on a 16" 5.56 upper. I test fired it at twilight once just to see how well it worked. Five shots into the side of a hill and all that was produced were three little blue flames coming off each slot.
