Finally! My Amend2 Mags arrived today!

Yes. I just loaded one with Gold Metal Berger 130s. I use that in this rifle. No issues loading. I run Barnes TSX in my other rifle.

Did you measure the amount of room for cartridge lengths in the stack. I figure with the polymer construction there should be 2.260” or maybe a couple thousadths difference.

Federal loads the 130gr Bergers to 2.245" or so COAL... The photo shows the rounds being pretty darned tight in the mag.

Maybe it's just the angle of the pic but the bullet tip seems to be pointing very hard at angle into the front corner of the mag.

Could you take a pic of the loaded mag from the side are the front, so we can have a diffrent view of how the polymer tip is in relationship to the front corner.

I didn’t have very big screen when I first looked at your photos. I didn’t even see the black tip on the 115 grain Barnes bullet. I think the Amend2 will be closer to the E-Lander COAL length than the ASC or CPD mags. As long as the Amend2 function reliably I can put up with that cartridge length.

Mine came yesterday they were ordered on the 12th. They never did answer my emails either or message on Facebook. Not the easiest mags to load and looks like 2.250 is going to be max OAL. Springs are very stiff only got 9 rounds in.

Mine are here, they definitely will NOT take my normal 2.265 OAL I use in my CP mags. So time to try a different OAL and see if it will still group ok. I like the fit in my Ruger Predator better than metal mags in it. Hope to get out to the range next day off and test them in both it and my ARs.

I received mine today. As with y'all, no ship notification and no tracking. Ordered June 13.
I tried some loads I have on hand.
100 ttsx handloads, 2.272, will not fit.
115 Tac-tx, 2.176 (factory) ok.
123 sst factory, 2.238 fits ok.
123 handloads I have on hand, 2.254, they fit just barely. So I stuck a strip of paper in at the noses to see if there's clearance, the paper mic-d at 0.0045", and it slides in -- not a lot of play but it slides in ok.
So maybe 2.258-2.259 max right at the front plastic.

The coal allowable was at first tricky to see, first I measured, from back of plastic to front, was 2.327"....... But.
the way it loads you lose a lot of that in the rear, there's a forward, vertical warp that seats the base, not the totally-at-rear plastic. Hmmm.
