I’d feel better about spending $ 300 on a upper receiver, handguard, gas tube, and bolt for any spare caliber I wanted to shoot.

Two takedown pins and the upper is swapped and I retain the option of dedicated optics traveling with a spare conventional upper swap.

I just don’t see the need for a takedown system of this cost - for spare uppers you still have to purchase couplers, handguard, and gas tubes.

Optics would not swap. Issue one.

Great for CQB - maybe, a 5.56/Blackout swap - maybe, but I'd spend that 300 on another lower and have two weapon systems first.

I can't imagine there to not be accuracy issues downrange if assembled this way. I wouldn't build this on a Grendel upper, personally. Too many new variables in the system we strive to make as solid and permanent as possible.

My two cents.

The install video is impressive, almost as if they knew they'd need 8 thou of shim!
