Hi back at ya BCG.
Noticed there are a number of new members from Colorado the past couple months including myself.

Well I’m building a 11.5” SBR or pistol, really haven’t made my mind up on that yet. I have a Areo Percision M4E1 fde lower and a 11.5” Alexander Arms barrel. I’m here for advice and from seasoned builders to get the best part for my budget.
My goal is to build a urban combat ready hunting rifle that I can shoot deer out to 250 yrds or coyotes well beyond. I love to shoot steal so hoping to build this one even though short to reach out to 800.
I’ve build a 12” .556 and a cheap 12” 6.5 grendel both pistols. That was right about the time Covid19 was hot in the news. I build a 24” Valkyrie and 24” Grendel a few years back. I built a few other too but I’ve been using PSA and K&M tactical,which is 2 blocks from my house but very cheap quality stuff. I’m ready to get serious and build a good one this time.
Looking forward to learning more I’ve been creeping here for awhile.
