Over the weekend I took a trip to a buddy’s deer lease.

They run corn year round and recently the hogs have been eating more of it than the deer and really just stinking up the joint.

We built a couple of blinds during the day and when it wasn’t raining we hunted for hogs at night.

Between the rain and work during the day I was honestly pretty whooped so hunting over both nights was about 4 hours total.

2 lone boars wandered into my sector and none left -

I find that it is supper accurate and cold bores don’t wander. When using night vision and thermal being able to shoot accurately and consistent is vital to repeated success and confidence in my gear - the DRACOS is hitting the check boxes hunt after hunt.

The downside is , as a reloader the OAL of my reloads has to be much shorter than all my other grendels otherwise the bullets hit the lands and I get malfunctions. So I have to load very carefully for it. Haven’t had a problem with any factory rounds though!
