Longest kill shot ive made on a coyote

Flubbed the close shot (approx 200yds) then drilled em at approx 400.

Outstanding! I think 250 is about my longest coyote kill. I don't know that I have even tried 400.

Up until this point 275 was my furthest, I normally don't even try if they're over 250, but seeing as this one had already been shot at I figured trying one more wouldn't hurt lol

I thought we couldn’t use a thermal in Michigan unless you was using a 22rf? It’s been awhile since I’ve looked at the coyote hunting regs though.

They changed the rules a few years ago. You can now use center fire rifles under .269 caliber on private land at night. Also there is no longer a “season” on coyote, you can hunt them 24/7/365!
