Buffer kit question

Good afternoon new member here and new to the 6.5 grendel world , i just purchased a Grendel hunter complete upper with a 20" barrel just wondering if i can run a carbine mil spec buffer kit like my other ARs or since the barrel is longer on this one i will have to use a rifle length buffer kit ? Any help is appreciated thank you .

Your regular carbine buffer should be just fine.

Rifle or carbine buffers are usually based on the length of the buffer tube.
