12" monster barrel and bolt

I need help I put together a 12" monster barreled grendel and it was getting hung up at first so I lubed and shot it to loosen it up and still having feeding issues with only steel case ammo. So I bought a toolcraft bolt as a spare and it won't even seat unless I push it in super hard. So I took it apart and noticed burrs on the bolt and bult lugs. I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures

Burrs are on the monster bolt not the toolcraft have used the toolcraft bolt. Bolt has to be barely hitting the bolt lugs

Ok so you built it up and were having feeding issues with steel case when useing the group buy bolt?

Then tryed a toolcraft bolt and it's worse?

Yes which the group by bolt and then I purchased a toolcraft bolt and it wont seat in the barrel extension with out pushing it really hard. And then the bolt is stuck in. With nothing in chamber I thought I was going to break my charging handle trying to get it out

It's short stroking will no pick up the next round. But worries be is the burrs on the extension that are also on the bolt so they have to be making contact

Thank you if you look on the extension you can see the burrs where I believe the bolt has been hitting

Sorry I should also add that I have no problem with either bolt in my bca barrel. Any chance the extension is just a tad off

Any pictures of the barrel installed in the upper receiver? Maybe the barrel rotated a touch when torquing the barrel nut?

No I can put the barrel back on the reciever later this evening when I get home and take a pic

10/4 but yes I haven't had any failures with factory brass only with wolf steel case. And I have 2 other bolts that will not seat in the in the extension unless forced in and then it feels like you are going to break the charging handle trying to pull it back out with nothing in the chamber. And the other bolts are g2g in my bca barrel

Take the o-ring off from under the extractor and see what it does with steel cased ammo.

What A5 said. I had the same problem this morning w/ my monster bolt/barrel when I test cycled dummy rounds with steel case. Removed the extractor oring and it cycles perfectly.

guys see the bolder part. Removing the o-ring won’t help
