It's done & I ended up with a quadruple bypass, it was brutal but is getting much better. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. GOD is good...

The GRENDEL got bad news today. Went in for an angiogram and a stent this morning, now looking at triple by-pass surgery on Monday. All prayers welcome.
Spent the last couple of months loading 1000's of rounds of different cal.'s, and built a 1000yd target. And now it all sits idle.
On the positive side no heart attack just blockage. Dr. says the engine is good just blocked fuel lines.........
I thought about selling my weapons back to the government, but after a thorough background check it was determined that the buyer has a long history of violence and is mentally unstable. Therefore could not pass NICS.

Greybuff......you have my prayers for a successful operation and a speedy recovery. When you are ready, the shells are loaded and the steel is placed so all you have to do is start pulling the trigger when you're given the go-ahead. All the best to you!

I think this is a chapter that's all too common. By the time a man gets enough of time, money, and expertise to do the dream of their own private 1000 yard range and the material to enjoy it; he's also often at a stage in life where this is starts popping up as well.
The great news is modern medical technology is incredible; so you'll likely recover and be fine; but it is sobering when your body thoughtfully reminds you, you're not 35 anymore!
As a general comment (that may not apply to you), all pills, drugs, treatments, and programs - pail in comparison to the life-long benefits of simply not being overweight. The most dangerous thing we all do, is eat.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Been there done that, not doing it again. They got mine before I had to have the bypass, they just went in from the bottom and expanded and put the stent in.

Sounds like this was caught in time.
I know a guy in his mid 70's who had a triple bypass done four years ago.
He's still riding his HD RoadKing.
