BIG Boar and 4 Coyotes - Spotting & Stalking

For the better part of 4 hours, I was on the move. The only times I stopped were to scan, shoot, take pictures, and then at the end, to wait and see if hogs could come onto my side of the fence. After I finished with one target, I would see another, but always in a completely different part of the pasture. No doubt this wasn't the most efficient use of my time hunting, but it was really fun.

The last half hour of my hunt was spent looking for the first coyote I shot. I knew my shot location because of a particular fence post that 3.5 hours later, apparently looked like all of the rest of them. :mad: I never found it, but am confident that it is deceased.

Great shooting on the follow ups on the big boar. That booger was moving on. I consider it great shooting if you hit one moving like that, no matter where the POI ends up being. Good job, and video. Thanks

Watching your vids is making me like black hot much more.
I may have to switch from white hot.
Locating just seems easier in white with my scanner.

Jkruger, yes, I agree, white hot makes scanning much easier. However, for the sake of looking more realistic, black hot looks better to me, particularly for hogs which are often quite dark. Now, under some environmental conditions, white hot can be really beneficial to shooting as well. It just sort of depends what is going on at the time.
