I saw that bottom of the SBA3 on my Pistol kept overlapping upon itself when transporting it. I saw that there is a new strap option that addresses this issue, but the black ones were on back order so I could not order one... looking down at the cord on my Chromebook I saw there was a velcro strap for wrapping the cord up and keeping it neat. I used that thin velcro cord wrap to bind up the bottom of my SBA3 Pistol brace where it goes over your arm.. its been a week since I did it and I have transported the Pistol 3 times and so far no overlapping.

The sba3 must have softer material then the sba4 brace.
I can tighten up the strap on my sba4 and not get the problems you had to fix.
That are maybe they redesigned the strap on the sba4.
Either way good work on the fix.

The SBA4 is much thicker and has a much smaller opening so doesn't distort like the SBA3 does. I also used a small loop of double sided velcro over the SBA3 split. It keeps the lips from slipping out of place yet doesn't alter anything so the brace can still function as originally designed.
