Gentlemen, Warriors, and Vile Unwashed Masses of the Grendel Horde, both MONSTER 12 and MONSTER 16 barrels are now in production concurrently.
They both have our NEW 1:7.5 twist that helps better stabilize bullets from shorter barrels, particularly at longer ranges.
Also, they will have a tighter-necked chamber that I call SAAMI-Hybrid (everything is stock SAAMI but a couple thousandths of an inch dimensional change in the case neck). We have tested this extensively with thousands of rounds of Wolf steel-cased ammo and have put to rest any potential reliability concerns. Our goal is to improve accuracy by better aligning the bullet to the bore upon chambering, thus building upon Bill Alexander's genius in instituting the compound-angle throat for 6.5 Grendel.
Finally, we are tweaking the rifling specification to help them work better with popular Wolf 6.5 Grendel 100 FMJ steel-cased ammo.
These will be our best barrels yet, and we'll keep the Horde informed as they progress through manufacturing. Gonna be good!

This is good to hear. I'm running the original 12.7" barrel and it's great, but my Anderson 16" barrel is hot garbage. It's OK with Hornady's stuff 2ish MOA, but Wolf is about 5-6MOA at best.

Wow that sucks. My ARP barrels do better. The 5R 18 SPR 264lbc does 2MOA, 16 3R Grendel SAAMI spec does between 2 and 3.

Good deal. I will be placing a order for a 16 and a flash hider soon as the barrels are in stock.
Moving the 12 inch and going back to the 16 length.
