That's $27.93 per lb. if you don't have to pay tax. I haven't used any 8208. Would like to try it but don't want to spend that much not knowing if it will work for me, but I thought that was pretty good price. I plan on trying a pound of it someday. Good huntin to ya

You're welcome. I like to patronize the stores that are holding the line on prices as best they can. Especially the "little guy" stores. I always check MidSouth and Academy when shopping, even though Academy is not a little guy, they have been good during the shortage scams. Load'em up and kill some hogs Gary

Now I wish I could find 500 round bulk packs of 9 mm Winchester white for under $100,like it was before the panic buying started.

Might as well be looking for "hens teeth" I don't see any 9mm. Brownells had 1000 rds of the white box for $258 a while back, maybe before the panic, don't remember exactly. I don't shoot much 9mm. I need to shoot more to stay in practice with my pistol. I reload, but when times are good, I can find plinking ammo cheap enough, and re use the brass. Not now. Good Luck

I had gotten that Winchester white box 500 rounds for $89.@Wallyworld before they wemt all liberal. Now they only sell 22 Long rifle, 12 gauge shotgun, and limited hunting rifle ammo.
Anyway I was buying two or three 500 round boxes per week for the longest time. I probably have 12 boxes left. And I was also getting the steel cased Winchester which was $10 less at the time. I probably have 10 boxes of it also.
Sounds like a lot.But I have double of that three months ago when I got my CZ scorpion 9 mm pistol. Backing eats animals like it’s going out of style. And of course it’s a blast to shoot. I just want to start replenishing before I get low.
What are you said ,at this time 9mm is as rare as hen’s teeth.

Yeah, right now it’s pretty rare. And if you find it you’re gonna pay more for it. Back when Walmart store sold 9 mm, they had Winchester white box 500 rounds for around $89 including tax. I was grabbing at least 2 boxes a week for several months.
Ever since I got my CZ scorpion for myself this past Christmas ,I have been going through 9mm ammo like crazy.I probably have only 12 of the 500rd boxes of Winchester white left. Everything else is gone, plus the few thousand rounds I had previously.
I’m not wanting to reload 9 mm. Hopefully it’ll come back within the next few months. But I’m not going to hold my breath.Just look at how long it took ammo to come back after the Newtown,CT school massacre. It took several years.

Was it Winchester white?
Last time I went to bass pro or their site ,all they had was Herter’s black box $10/50 rds. That’s $.20 rd
