Aftermarket LWRC 68 receiver set?

A while ago (year or two ago) there was a company that was going to be making aftermarket LWRC 68 pattern receiver sets and polymer grendel magazines, but I can't find any information if they ever happened. Does anybody remember anything about that project? Is it still happening?

Amend2 is the magazine vaporware company.

I thought several manufacturers were going to make the six8 receiver sets. I could be wrong but I thought it was CMMG and Aero Precision that were in on it.

no this was a completely different deal from amend2. they said they had manufacturers lined up for mags and the receiver sets

I think it may be Mad Dog Arms. They were on arfcom pushing their wild cats. Seems like some one else was doing the work and they were going to do the marketing.

Wrong on all accounts gents.

It was newfrontierarmory for the budget SIX8 sized recivers and they just now got them out.

And maddogweapons was going to make a metal grendel mag too fit the SIX8 reciver sets but that looks like its never going too happen.

Amend2 is the company saying they are tweaking a polymer grendel mag. It's meant to fit legacy sized ar15 lowers. They been tweaking it for like 2 years now.

Will a Grendel run reliably from the LWRC 6.8 Mags? Seems like a nice tweak in additional COAL if it would. Especially for a 22 Grendel and 77TMK's or 80eldm's

lwrc 68 mags are made by magpul, from what i have been told.

The six8 pmags don't give you any extra coal length, they max at 2.295 to 2.300.

As for as grendel working in six8 pmags, you most not have ever read my like 4 page thread on it.
