In the first photo it looks like you captured the hog spirit leaving it's body. Cool!

Fell asleep in my truck, woke up and scanned over to my bait pile with the axion xm30 where he was chomping down on my corn. Waited for him to turn broadside then i took my shot. He dropped in his tracks. I recovered the copper part of the round under the skin near the opposite shoulder. Hardest part was getting him in the truck.

recovered the copper jacket from under the hide near the opposite shoulder.

Yep, not atypical for a cup and core to lose its core and of course, the cup is what is apt to be recovered.
