Not grendel specific, but a great deal on a solid scope. Bushnell Forge 2.5-15x50 FFP for $399. I have one of the Forge?s in SFP, and the class is slightly better than a vortex hst, but with much better turrets and zero stop. With this zoom range this would be a great scope for almost any shooter out to at least 800 yards.

What does Frontier have over American Gunner? Frontier is supposed to be Hornady's low-end/affordable ammo and American Gunner not so low-end. That's my understanding. SGAmmo has the American Gunner at the same price as the Frontier. Why would anyone choose the Frontier over AG? What am I missing?

FMJ Vs. HPBT, my guess is the old cheap price on American Gunner will go away and $189 a can will be the norm. Frontier at $139 will be the 'cheap' ammo.

This is the sfp version of this scope. I Just bought the ffp version on Midway for $315. For me, I think it's worth the extra money. But with the 29% rebate available from Bushnell right now, this is a crazy amount of scope for the money.

Just an FYI...AA used a 1/9 twist for years on it's barrels over 18". It should be enough to stablize the 123 grain class bullets. Where in the Finger Lakes? I spent a tour at Seneca Army Depot in 81-83.

The Nosler outlet store in Bend, Oregon (its separate but next to SPS) has 6.5mm 90gr Varmageddon belms for $11.20/100. They looked good to me but I'd never tried this bullet. I grabbed a couple bags and there were 5 or 6 left.

After reading about this bullet here I wish I'd grabbed them all! Anyway, if you're close to Bend you might want to swing by. Last I looked SPS had the same bullet for $19.95.

This really doesn’t fill a gap for me, but at that price point I’m having a hard time resisting.

The muzzle end will require an expensive muzzle device. Won't be able to just run a $10 A2 FH on that. Personally, for 20" - I like a basic A2 FH, and think the expensive (extra cost) Alexander version looks like extra expensive heavy machining for no apparently point.

The 1/9 twist is an issue. It won't fully stabilize a 129 gr bullet. It will stabilize a fast 123 (mostly).

If I could find a basic A2 FH in that goofy thread-spec, I might pull the trigger, since AA supposedly makes good accurate barrels (I think?)

AA sells standard A2 flash hiders in that thread pitch.

Im pretty sure i have one of their millennium compensators somewhere. If you wanted it for $50 i would look for it. The crusher washer was used though so would probably need one of those.

At least one of their brakes is threaded for that pattern f or $40. Also saw thread protectors in that pattern (don’t recall the price).
