Need the name and contact info for any custom shops in the TX,LA,ARK area and need it fast.
Noticed my CZ had a issue yesterday. Well sitting down trying to figure out what the problem is today. I figured out the lil milled in sections where the CZ style scope rings would mount. Are not only off center but also unlevel to each other.
So I need to get this thing sent to a shop and have that crap milled off and have the action tapped for the same screw size and spacing the howa mini action uses.

I know a couple places in the Dallas area I would trust for that but not so sure about the timeframe.
Are the rails off that much or the indentions in them for the rings? If the rail groves are straight but the indentions are off the DIP rail should work fineas they use the full rail curout not the indentions for the CZ rings. Correct me if I am wrong but are the CZ rings not key coded for mounting and one a little taller than the other? Been a while since I looked at that. .

CZ should be flush, level, front and back. Ruger M77 has a high/low ring setup.

I worked through each part to find it was the milled in sections of the action. The lil sections were you would attach the CZ scope rings.
I have a DIP rail on it and It was throwing it off even worse. Don't know why I didn't catch it before today.
I was able to fix it by adjusting the torque on the set screws in the DIP 25 moa rail. It's nice and level and I'm at the range now.
Once I figured out that I could level off the rail section by adjusting the torque. I pulled each screw and coated them in rockset and made sure it stayed level.
Back up and shooting now. Will let it roll like this for a bit and see how it goes. If it acts up again. It's either getting milled and tapped are it's going find a new home.

A5, they guy I sent you info on the rebarrel we talked about I have no doubt could do the mill and tap work.

That's right I had forgot I had his contact info. Thanks for reminding me.
I think I have it fixed up now, going to let it ride for a bit and see what happens, if it doesn't hold, then I will pay up the cash to have it reworked.

Since I have a couple of 527’s, I’m kind of curious, what problem are your having with the gun? Won’t hold zero?

Perhaps bedding the DIP rail may be enough if torque variation alone doesn't persist for you.

If the torque trick I used ends up not working. I will have that crap milled off and have it tapped to match the same spacing the howa mini uses. So I can just screw down a outerimpact 20moa rail and have less things to go wrong with it.
Are sell it off and grab a howa mini and have it rebarrled with a Krieger barrel 26 inch's long.

I would call CZ.They have one of the greatest Customer service departments in the industry. And they also have a custom shop.

I understand that. But they would get my super fine shooting rifle and send me a new in box rifle that shoots like crap. That's how my luck works.
I got it working now. If it mess's up I will have it fixed up at a custom shop.
