Well I managed to find a on a Howa Mini Action over thanksgiving and picked up an oryx stock recently. Was wanting to do something more accurate than my ARs (18? and 12? group buy barrels) and the consensus seemed positive for the howa. Also wanted to shoot it suppressed with my Rugged Surge. Wasn?t concerned so much with weight as with accuracy. Scope is a Riton Mod 5 6x24 (I like supporting local companies when I can and Riton is down the road so to speak in Tucson AZ). Took a bit to get dialed in but I?m very happy with the final group. I pulled the last round otherwise the first 4 are sub MOA at 100 yards, the best group I?ve shot so far. Ammo was Hornady Black ELDM. Working on getting pics up.
It?s a Rugged Surge. I like it a lot so far, one of these days I?ll get around to taking it out to the desert with a dosimeter so I can get some at ear measurements for sound reduction.
